Good place with Wi-Fi, excellent breakfast, an outdoor dining area, and pet amenities. The staff helped me with places to shop on my first stay. I’ll be back for Christmas!

I had a disappointing experience at Thornybank Bed & Breakfast. The walk from the property to the seafront is treacherous without a path or any lighting, making it very unsafe at night. my friends and I stayed in the family room, but the single bed was beyond uncomfortable and caused me back pain, forcing me to resort to sleeping on the sofa. This was absolutely unacceptable for the price we paid.

Loved the spacious family room, though the narrow road was tricky for walking.

wildlife sightings, private location, spacious accommodation
The self-catering annex needed better ventilation. a windowless master bedroom is a poor design choice!!! The view from the decking overlooking the car park is disappointing—definitely not the scenic escape you might hope for!!!

The stay was peaceful and welcoming, with abundant wildlife visible while enjoying a delightful breakfast in the garden. The spacious family room, coupled with the warmth of the pets, made for a soothing atmosphere. Breakfast featured a fantastic selection, including a delicious cooked-to-perfection English breakfast, but the accessibility to the breakfast room may pose difficulties for some guests. a charming escape, though better access would enhance the experience.

Perfect retreat for families
The room was spacious with a super king bed that could split into singles, perfect for the kids! Plus, having a jacuzzi bath was a real treat after a long day. We loved gathering fresh eggs for breakfast with Ronica’s dogs—what a unique experience! !
It wasn’t the most budget-friendly option, but worth every penny.

Perfect getaway for animal lovers
We spent 2 nights in a lovely, spacious room surrounded by pets galore! The host was super friendly and made us the yummiest breakfast, even with fresh eggs from the chickens! The only bummer was that it was a bit far to walk into town, so a car is best for getting around.
